A Bit About Me

Talking Therapy - Humanistic Integrative Counselling

I am Kim Zepler and I am a Qualified Counsellor.  I belong to an ethical body the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. (BACP).  I am a Registered Member (MBACP). My membership number is 00933700.  Registration number 389528.

How come writing this is difficult?  This reflects my thoughts about how we cope and deal with the challenges we meet in life. It can be scary.

All typo's, grammatical errors and the like are entirely mine.

I truly believe we all know our own voice and what we need, would like or want in life.  We have thoughts or feelings rattling inside us and we don't know how to express them.  We sort of have the words but they can get stuck or 'it's complicated'. It can be hard finding the courage to allow them out of our head.  This is where counselling can help and I speak from my own experience.

Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Talking helps us reflect and grow in a way that mirrors our true self.  Counselling can help us change or become more accepting.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental confidential space in which you can explore your world.  Humanistic counselling isn't about providing advice or telling you what to do.  I can provide emotional support while you work through what you want to talk about.  What you want to achieve is up to you.

I have a room at a discrete location on Poole High Street with parking nearby.

I also work via video and phone.

I work most days during the week i.e., Tuesdays to Fridays plus Saturday mornings.

I offer 'walk and talk' (or sit) counselling in a beautiful park on the edge of Poole. Subject to weather and daylight.

I always have a 'Plan B'

You are welcome to mix your counselling sessions!!

Get in touch today to see how we can work together.  I might not be the counsellor for you and that's ok.

It's all about the relationship.

PS I am a seasonal hat wearer and love being outdoors
